Ok, so I'm trying to squeeze a little more juice out of this baby.
Ive killed a bunch of services and what not, and all of a sudden. No mixer problem in windows.
SO since ive only stopped the services, I reboot, It brings everything back to life, it's recognising my on board sound again, letting me play with volume control, making sounds, letting me watch movies listen to music etc etc.
HOWEVER! Whenever I load bf2, I have no sound in game what so ever. Not too sure what the go is here, but it's frustrating me. How can I play without sound.
Ive tried total reinstall of the game, tried reinstall of audio drivers, all to no avail. Google searching has proved fruitless, has anybody else experienced or resolved this issue?
Any help what so ever is much appreciated!
***Edit: I also forgot to mention that this seems to be a rather odd problem, as I get intro sounds right up to "Welcome to duty" then utter silence....
