ok I bought the bf2: sf on ea's thing and then loged into ea downloader, first question is everyone who has an ea account can they log into ea downloader program?

next question is I clicked the download button in the ea downloader and its at like 60mb of 1 gb of the special forces download, is this actually downloading the expansion to my desktop or something? I thought we can only download and play it on november 22nd, why it is downloading right now, and when do I get my cd key. of all the stupid emails ea sent me they dont say anything about a cd key or why were able to download it now

Hmm not sure about the CD-key thing. but what it does is it Downloads it, but has some code that says it will activate on Nov.22nd. If you click on it it wont do anything or maybe have a popup that says "haha wait _ more days"

we do get a online cd key right, thats the only reason I paid for this

When the 1GB download is complete you will have downloaded everything you need to install/run BF2:SF on the day of its release. The only step remaining is for that download to be 'activated' by EA - you will need to be running the EA download client to activate the game.

Also, I doubt you will get a CD Key with the downloaded version of the expansion - your authorization is through your EA downloader account. Others who buy the pack in a store will receive a CD key but you don't need one.

Might be possible. They copied Steam enough, they might aswell go the full way with having CD keys work with registering on an account.
