    Question about pre-load BF2:SF

I bought and preloaded BF2:SF through the EA downloader. I have a few questions. What if for some reason you decide to uninstal it to instal it on another computer? Will you just get a key so that you can unlock it when you want to download it? Just wondering how that will go. Thanks

Log in with your EA account you made and download it to the other PC.

i've heard nothing but problems with downloaded games. some because of the copyright protection won't even work with normal patches. and later when you get another computer you have to buy the game again..

I don't think it matters what computer you have the patch on. I think the deal is that you can only run it on one computer at a time. Once you pay for it, EA has record of that on your account, and they will let you download it again any time you want. They are trying to make it so that you don't have to worry about stuff like switching computers. It's kind of like how you can install Half Life 2 on any computer you want because of the Steam thing.

Just for the record, I decided to do an XP reinstall yesterday and had already downloaded the patch. When I got everything up and running again, my patch was still available for download through the EA downloader software. I don't know what will happen after I do some hardware updating. I'm thinking of putting in a PCI express mobo after the holidays are over and I get all my NewEgg gift certificates, and I don't know how that will effect things. I know that Microsoft doesn't like it, so EA probably won't either.

                  Yes, yes you will.

You know it, I know it, and everyone here knows it. If you truly weren't planning on buying the game, then you wouldn't be posting in the SF forums.

You'll get it, and you know you will get it. If I'm wrong, and you truly don't plan on buying the game, then stop posting on the SF part of the forums because frankly those of us who are buying it don't want to hear your worthless "I'm not going to buy it drivel."
