Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I haven't noticed the backstroke animation because I rarely see people swimming close enough to see that. Usually it's enemies I see swimming and they don't generally last long once I do see them.
Why can't I do a side stroke (strafe) while swimming? I remember there was a similar issue with BF1942 but it was rectified in one of the earlier patches. Seems simple enough and people do use side stroke when swimming. It is possible to move side to side as well as forward and back when people swim. Seems silly to me that if you want to look to the side you have to swim that direction too rather than continuing the direction you were heading and going to a side stroke so you can see to the side you choose.
Yea i REALLY miss the side swim, it worked well when enemy on beach trying to shoot you. They actually left it out of BFV also and never patched that to my knowledge. Some times with that side swim you could juke over and get out of the way fast enough to get out of water and give it back. At least you could keep an eye on the enemy as you swam up or down the river. It only worked if the enemy was unskilled with the ww2 style bolt action rifle, or didnt notice you.
Wait for an enemy who's swiming to get close to shore.
Run over to where he's planning to get out of the water.
Laugh a bit while he sees you and freaks out.
Pull out your grenade launcher or AT tube.
Nail him.

one of the funniest swimming moments in bf2 was in karkand. I was swimming under the bridge amd somehow found myself swimming between two enemy guys fact to face. was very funny because we all started swimming to the nearest point were you can pull your gun and shoot.
