Changes I'd like to see to stats/ranking

I'd like to see vehicle kills/points not count toward your kit kills. By allowing this it clouds the overall picture of kit skill,awards,badges,ribbons. All you have to do is look at the rankings, some of the top guys have great ratios, but they are all vehicle wh0res. Pretty sad in my opinion, the ranking system could be so much better.

I'd like to see it changed to the following:
1 CSM per kit
1 CSM per vehicle type
1 CSM for the combination of both(like it is now)

Also wouldn't mind points for infantry kills by vehicles being halved.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Flames coming I'm sure

That is how I was able to get most of my combat badges - lol. I agree it seems cheat for getting the awards, but could be tricky to code that in.

It would be nice to seperate the actual kit kills from the driver type kills though.

I'd like to see it tossed all together. It leads to idiots doing useless **** just to get first place.

Points should only be givin for kills, captures, defense and kill assists. It is idiotic that they give you points for every little mundane action you do in the game and can get first place doing so, you should be rewarded for doing what you are supposed to do (get flags and kill) and not for seeing how many ammo/health bags you can toss out of your ass.

Dude that would suck if they wouldnt count your kills in armor etc towards your kick,i mean do really think your going to get 35 kills IAR with a sniper rifle? i think not

I've logged 35 kills with a sniper rifle before. It's not that hard. Simply a matter of certain conditions being met.

I don't agree.
By rewarding players for their support actions, it encorages them to actually use teamwork. I don't really give a dam if that guy gave me ammo just for the points... I'm greatful for the extra bullets!
Likewise for the health 'n revives.

The system isn't perfect, but I'm glad supporting actions are rewarded.

As for halving the points for vehicle kills... what about driver vehcile asists? Would it really be fair to give everyone the same single point reguradless of who did the shooting? I could see that being a problem.
Maybe something like 4 points for an "on foot" kill, 2 for a kill from a vehicle, and 1 for vehicle assists. Now we're re-writing the whole system, tho. I could think of better than that if it were a total re-write.

Ammo should have been left in crates at strategic places and at the flags. As of right now, the point system encourages people to do **** that does not help win a map side. The only time you actually (generally speaking) get anyone who is truly using their kit for the benefit of the team is when your in a squad of friends (clan members, lan members etc).

Ok but who said you had to achieve every badge/medal/ribbon? So what if only the top 2% can pull that off (btw its with sniper rifle, pistol, clays and nades). Then the badge will actually MEAN something.

Instead of getting rid of it though, I say just distinguish between vehicle kills and infantry kills. You can apply vehicle kills to vehicle badges and infantry kills to infantry badges.
