Ok bf2 worked then patch ctd please help

ok reformatted my 9800 pro died so i got my back up gforce5200.
installed all up dates.patched 1.03 didn't work soo
i uninstalled bf2 then deleted all ea files reinstalled bf2 tried to start in it worked then I installed patch 1.03 loads screen then boom ctd I've read the thread on this but could someone please help me out

2.2 g,p4-1 gig of pc3200(200mh)ad 2 value,gforce 5200 128mb nov.12 drivers

Did you remove your profiles when you uninstalled?

I will assume you cleaned the old ATI drivers our and re-installed the latest nVidia ones as well?
