My Game wont Start! i go to eat and come back and now my game wont start. WTF?

P4 2.4ghz northwood
X700 pro 256 mb AGP
1 GB Ram
Audigy 2

....it looks as if it is about to start...but crashes back to desktop

Were you playing before? Sometimes the BF2.exe process does not end correctly so it won't start up again, Restart the system or go into the processes manages and end the bf2.exe process manually.

....rebooted 10 times....would a reinstall fix my problem?

well....i reinstalled...but i am having more problems. i set my settings on mid-high as i always had. all mid except for geo,effects,and the one at the top of the list, and texture filtering. those are on high. but the holes on top of the m16a2 (the one with m203) dont look like they did with those settings as they were before. the 180hz option is not on the resolution list. and overall the game runs like crap now. when i loaded a map before all this happened it would come right up and i could play with no lag from the start, but now when i load 64 player dragon valley, BOOM. Crash to desktop. with SF coming out soon i am starting to think its time to reinstall windows. what do you guys think about that?

When you reinstalled did you do it manually in the link provided or just uninstalled it from the control panel?

well....i reformat. still crashing to desktop on chinese maps. WTF?...i have no money.
2 nights ago my system was awsome. now it wont even run... WHAT HAPPENED??
i cant think of anything!!!! I AM CRYING. WTF...i quit high school to play this
