Thats within the margin of error from one test to another on the same drivers.

Yes, I'm aware of that, but I have run at least a dozen tests on the previous drivers with nothing higher than 8444.

Re: New ForceWare v81.94 Official Release

I think they are done with performance improvements in BF2. For the 6800, anything from the 78.03 on up.

Not true if you look at the first post there are fix's for older cards like the G4 TI & 5950.

I built a new machine, its 1 week old today anywhos its a AMD 3700 64, 2gig RAM, 6800GT 256 & I run WINDOWS XP 64bit. I have had a wonderful week of trouble free play, no more crashes too the desktop no more sound freaking out with game freeze . Installed 81.85 64bit WHQLs @ build installed 64 bit 81.94s lastnight they 3dMark the same, as far a IQ goes I cant tell I'm still so dazzled with play'n with everything on high.

When I got the game I had AMD XP 3000, 1 gig RAM & a FX5900XT 128 low settings looked like crap but playable. Big fights & CQB meant certain death because it woukd get choppy. Then I traded for a ATI 9800 256 it looked better but still play'd the same. I was also cursed with every kind of crash know to exist for this game.

Now with everthing on high games run 70-80 FPS most the time, in a big Karkand street fight bunch of peeps run around, tanks, APCs & artillary go'n off me in the middle it,ll drop to 45 briefly. To me, use'ta to play'n on crap its as smooth as butter. CQB (close quarter battle) is a blast when your gun accually pionts to where you aim it

This is the first driver above 77.77 I've been able to use with my 5900 Ultra. Higher frames in Bf2 and no fog problems in Karkland that I had with the previous 80 series drivers. Played for 2 hours with no crash to desktop.
