DAo all the way, you can kill 6 in one clip if you know how to use it, i've even taken out guys at a distance with this thing, since i've unlocked it, anti-tank is my favourite kit
of those two choices, i would say DAO. The standard assualt kits rifles are just fine, the G3 just seemed like kind of an extra for the fun of it. Don't get me wrong, i like the G3, but the DAO is a much larger improvement over those crap sub guns
I have both guns, and I think both are extremely effective. But if you EVER aspire to play AT often, the DAO is a must. When I got it, AT became my favorite, most powerful, and most effective kit. It is much more powerful, and effective gun compared to the MP5 (which actually does less damage than a pistol!!!). Its only disadvantage to the MP5 is its effectiveness at long range, but you have your rocket launcher anyway, so it really doesnt matter. Compared to the G3, it improves its kits class a lot more. The normal assault rifles are good, but I have killed about as many people with the MP5 as I have with defibrillators (exactly 2). You just can't get the same scores with the SMGs as you can with the DAO. When I'm in a 1 on 1 situation against assault rifles at the edge of the DAOs range, I have about a 50% chance of a kill. Against almost any weapon at close range, I have about a 99% chance of a kill, unless they are a noob tuber or have another shotgun of some sort. If playing AT doesn't really interest you, the G3 is another very good gun. It is powerful, relatively accurate, and extremely effective on single shot. I find it a nice change over the USMC M16, as it is much more effective and powerful short-range, plus the added bonus of NO NADE LAUNCHER!!!, but is sometimes hampered by its 20 shot clip. It is the only gun that uses bullets that I have ever completely run out of clips with. But it all comes down to which kit you play. If you like the assault kit more, you will probably have more fun with the G3, but if you like the AT class, definitely go with the DAO. If you play as both, I would definitely suggest the DAO, as it makes the kit 10000x more enjoyable and a trillion times more effective, while the G3 only offers a small improvement over the standard assault rifles, with the small change of a grenade instead of a grenade launcher. Just some thoughts to consider while choosing your weapon!
Yeah even the pistol ahs 7 mags, when are you going to use 7 mags for a pistol, when i was getting the pistol badge i only used about 4.
I've actually managed to run out of pistol ammo once. I think it was the same game I got my veteran badge. Was mostly defending the airfield on Wake and there weren't any support people or supply crates around.
Depends on what kind of maps you favor. If you're a Kark guy, then I'd suggest the DAO just because of all the alleyways.. and nothing clears those out like the DAO.
If you're just an all around guy, then go for the G3. The range and power is nice to have on big open maps, just keep a supply guy close because that thing runs out of ammo QUICK.
I say they are both good weapons however the DAO is not good at long range it only works good indoors or in alleys with most of the bunny hopping its easy to avoid a dao. However dont think the dao is bad it can kill in 1-2 hits.
I prefer the G3 because i like to support and cover my team while they cap so i just aim a carefull 2-3 rounds at the charging enemy.
