I'm always looking for a good gunner. As Talus said, you don't get the points but it's so satisfying to see you gunner in pole position. There is a guide here showing the difference between gunners view & pilots view, so you can use that a rough guide. I can usually get you lined up with almost anything...bring an ammo bag just incase :)
If I'm gunning the first thing I do is say "I use the TVMs" of course im ignored and he goes screaming about, firing his rockets and spins around like a top.
If I'm flying I say "I will position you for TVMs" and of course the gunner looks on at the tank admiring the view - SHOOT, SHOOT YOU ****
I'm not the best at flying or gunning but I use the right tool for the job and get fair kills with an average team mate and good with a good team mate. Get noyhing with a bad team mate.
I generally give my gunner one chance only to prove his worth: if he fails to demonstrate some proficiency with the TV or gun, I consider him a ride-along. I seriously wish that a future patch gives me both abilities, ie. choose pilot missiles or gunner missiles/gun like you can select bombs or missiles in a jet. No, I take that back because I'd be f'ing invincible...
When I fly, I'm usually the pilot and my clanmate is usually the gunner. If you are a random player, I, too, give you only one chance to prove your effectiveness. After that, I'll either 1) get a different gunner, 2) just take off without anyone else, or 3) just not fly at all for the rest of the round.
I'm one of those pilots that dips so low on the terrain and in between buildings that I've been known to swat an infantry with the nose of my helo and send his body flying about a quarter mile. The "lols" fills the message board immediately while I swing around for some unsuspecting fool in a tank. You have my base pinned down with your l33t tank camping skills? Perfect. Just hold still a bit longer...
well i am a good pilot i always fly a heli and if im in a jet then i am skydiving but ya and i hate it when ur gunner doesnt use his tvm its so annyoing
Cobra is a chopper for noobs .... any moron can fly well in it because it is faster ..it clims higher ..tv missiles fly through it alot ...
Try handing some cobra noobs thier A$$ with a z-10 then you can call yourself decent
Anyway z-10 is the best chopper for getting kills as most newbs play usmc and theirs always the odd blackhawk to tv missile full blackhawks are what get you all the killz

you can already do this by flying alone and pressing F2 firing your missile and get back in F1 ........... so why arent you already invincible ?
