bah, even your squad mates punish now

I was playing Sharqi as MEC and assaulting the TV station. We had just captured the flag and I went to the top to check for stragglers. A guy starts running down the stairs and I unload into him, but my retarded squad mate runs infront of my fire and PUNISHES even after I revive him . I asked him why and he just says "My team mate got gun crazy and shot me." :hmm:

Later I threw a nade and my squad mate runs right into it and INSTANTLY punishes. Thankfully, two other guys who ran into it forgave or I would have been kicked :) . This is just many instances that its happen, Its just really starting to bug me now. Unless Im playing with clan mates Im starting to play lone wolf, Its that or get tons of TKs:cry:

Well in real life you cant punish someone for a teamkill, well you can but not really.....ok i just confused myself. Anyways let me just say its the harsh reality of the world we live in, so get used to it. :p

As a bit of a counter-story (ray of hope type thing).

Last night I desided to finally get serious about getting my explosives badge. I warned my squad of my intentions as we started Karkand (of cource). I went on a C4 blastin rampage. Total and utter boom whorin. I used the hop 'n toss stunt to lob the sticky grey stuff of death at anything that twitched.

I got my badge, but desided to keep going with the same stratagy, since the chaos it was causing seemed to be a good thing for our side.

Do I really have to mention that I got more than my normal number of TKs?

A truely sick number, in fact. I was very worried that I was going to get tossed out by punkbuster.

Meanwhile, my squad was not only NOT getting upset with me (or punishing at all), but I had 3 medics and a support guy following me around! Everytime I managed to blow myself up. they'd put me back on my feet, give me a new bag o boom, and send me on my way. They also scraped up any colateral damage I had caused.

The whole time, I only got punished once.
I kept saying things along the lines of "Jeez, I'd better cool it here".
My squadmates kept replying with "HELL NO! This is great!!", while busting their guts LAMOing. Even the commander was being highly amused, apparently (this was told to me via the SL).

All in all, it was a hella fun round. Er, maybe the MEC didn't enjoy it much, but everyone on our team sure did!

It's really sad when someone in your own squad punishes you. I like being squadleader in those situations so I can kick them out. I've been in 2 man squads and have been punished. KICK!

I read you m8 but try Alpha 9 clan tk is off, good admin, you can read server rules at http://alpha9s.com. Rules are a 2 way thing.
See if it's up your ally
It's the #1 UK server but peeps from all over the world play.
Ping rate is high as we have one clan member in south america.

This brings up a funny incident,


I was in a tnk with a buddy of mine. We were on TS so we were chatting the whole time. Anyway, we were crossing a bridge and unbeknownst to me (Because tanks don't come with rear view mirrors) A squad mate was behind my tank using me as cover. From out of nowhere an APC shows up at the end of the bridge and opens up on me.... I started to back away as I was firing and in doing that I ran over him. I said I was sorry and the idiot still punishes me. My friend even went to revive him. Well Eye for an eye I always say and if he's going to punish me without plainly seeing that it WAS INDEED AN ACCIDENT then I'll give him a reason to punish me... Sooooo, i trained my main turret on him and blew him to bits. That felt REALLY GOOD LOL

I think you just had bad luck and happened to play with a few idiots, although it is quite common generally.
If I am squad leader and I get punished, I kick em from squad.

seems like thats a common line in BF2 these days...... 'get used to it'

airpower ruining the game? get used to it.
teammates fighting each other for the jets/choppers? get used to it.
players dropping bombs anywhere and everywhere? get used to it.
teammates goofing off on deck waiting for jet/chopper spawns,
while youre working your ass off all game trying to control points? get used to it.
idiot teammates running right over your mines without any attempt to
avoid? then punishing you? get used to it.
Server browser stops responding for a minute at a time? get used to it.
your commander totally useless and the voting system sucks so bad you
cant do anything about it ? get used to it.
and last but not least.. got legitimate complaints but cant post them
anywhere because all the BF2 forums are full of brown noser yes-men ?
get used to it.

I got used to it, alright. I took my BF2 back for a full refund Saturday.
The game is a joke.

Was on the 'Dirty Rats' server the other and some fool drove over my land mine.Obviously I had to ask in certain words what the hell he think he was doing punishing me for such a stupid act on his half.
The DR's admin saw the messages and asked me what was the matter I said that the 'fool' and drove over my landmines when was clearly obvious with the red skull and cross bones and they kicked him
Started playing on their server alot now.

Well said the people playing the game are a joke and like this forum that has seemed to have changed into a kiddie fest with the usual " get used to it" sorry for the double post btw
