Every French verb has a 'z' at the end when speaking about the plural or formal 'you', or when giving an order.

Parlez-Vous Français? - Do you speak French

Managez votre temps - Manage your time

        Jouez Battlefield 2 - Play Battlefield 2 .

As already mentioned, it's probably due to DiCE Canada producing SF and the law being the law that resulted in French text.

Just be thankful that it wasn't DiCE Switzerland that produced SF :)

Canada does have two offical languages, it could be the reason why it's in both languages.

English much like french is also a colonial language so, someone from haiti might appreciate the french because english is not their first language, or you know some one from new orleans. there is also FRANCE who might buy a copy or two.

You realize games more then most mediums are INTERNATIONAL, like the INTERNET. why do you think console launches happen in 3 places in the world. Some games even come out all over the world at the same time.

Did you realize there are a few foreign languages in this game? 2 spoken, and some russian writing on the NON US equipment.

English isn't the most spoken language, it's chinese, split down Cantonese and mandarin.
And ther only reason there isn't a indian language up there, is because it's too diverse so there's ALOT of offical languages. In some places in india and pakistan people speak up to 14 languages, most of those are dialects, however they cover english, chinese and indian languages which means they can just about go anywhere and talk to any one, which means they'll be making translations for your games in the future.
