Ever be running along minding your own business, when something happens that reminds you of a movie you saw? Or a book you read? Ever done something in the game that could've been in a decent movie? Lets hear it.
My movie moment:
Playing Masty City today, I was crouched down in that fox hole at the mosque trying to reload my Eryx. We'd just fought off a determined push by the Marines to retake the building. I heard blackhawks approaching, so I ran across the street and climbed to the roof of a building beside the mosque. I heard the blackhawks getting closer and closer, so I waited patiently. It's just too hard to hit a chopper at long-range, so I figured I'd let them get into my killzone first.
Finally, a blackhawk -full- of people zooms in from behind a nearby building. I stood up, shouldered my Eryx and let loose. Through my sights, I could -see- the minigunner and someone sitting next to him just looking at me, and right as they started to react I guided the missile right into the passenger area. The blackhawk was at a slight angle to me, so I managed to shoot right through the door and hit the inside surface of the blackhawk. The chopper started to smoke, and 2 dead Marines fell out. The blackhawk pilot must've paniced, because they nearly rolled and then got out of dodge before I could reload.
It hit me that I'd seen this before. Where? The movie "Red Dawn", near the end when the Russian attack helos set up their ambush. The kid with the RPG shoots a round right into the chopper and blows out a couple of the passengers. My scene looked remarkably like that.
