Ghost Recon 3 (PC)

I don't know that game, but I have seen few videos that were just amazing. I was wondering if it was a FPS (First Person Shooter) or Third Person Shooter? From the videos it seems that you see your soldier when walking/running and all that, but it gets into FPS viwew when you aim/shoot.

Is it that way just because it's a video (has been recorded like that) or is the game entirely FPS (like BF2, Quake, Unreal, etc...)?

I have never played Ghost Recon 1 and 2.

It's a fps/3rd person. But it's delayed and comming in 2006.

So, you cannot set it a way you would only pay FPS (Firsty person view like BF2)?

Loved the first Ghost Recon and the expansions. Too bad GR 2 didn't come out for PC.

Yes, you can only play in first person of you really whant to. But people in 3rd person will have an advantage over you. Seeing around corners, over short walls ect.

Good point! But I'm a BF2/UnrealTournament player, I have difficulty to imagine playing in 3rd person view. The way you talk, I understand that people run/walk in 3rd person view and then shoot/aim in First Person view?

gr 3 is coming out for pc?? i thought they were only doing the advanaced figter for xbox 360?? im lost, completely

If I remember correctly you can't shoot in 3rd person view....not accurately at least. I do remember the game GR(1-2) were really well done and the sound, at the time was pretty realistic. you heard the wind blowing the grass. AI wasn't bad either...but I might be mistaken.

I will probably buy GR3. The game was much more realistic than BF2. Almost 2 different genres really.
