Well china thought of it and is making it.. they're trying it on WoW which dosent have contry filters on their realms so thats means every realm is effected... and people from western contries play on them lol

ok, I know absolutely nothing of those games so I wont affect me.

Simply put, this will never take affect in the US. It would be bad for the gaming industry, and right now, if I recall, is larger than the movie industry. They won't risk something like this.

As I understand it, China is having a problem with game addiction.
People are dying from it. No, I'm not kidding.

If people are becoming so badly hooked, it might not be a bad idea to regulate it some. They do with drug and alcohol in almost every "civilised" nation.

Odd as it might seem, it's maybe not a bad idea.
As previously mentioned, I did it to some of my own players out of a sence of responciblity.

As evil or morbid as it sounds, call it population control. China has such a large population as it is and by comparison, their death rates and ours could be the same based on 1:20 I believe the rate is, Americans to Chinese. Or maybe it was 1:10, I can't remeber. Anyways, as we begin to elimate diseases and reducing accidents, we're messing with the balance of the world and soon we won't have enough of anything to spread around. Then everyone suffers.

not suprised its China trying this. In the west, it would not be tolerated, its too "Big Brother". If I want to kill myself with a 36 hour stint of BF2, its my goddam right to do so & no suit is going to tell me I cant.
