**How To Cap the Flag as a Team***

This requires a full squad for most effective force.

Get a full squad, get the squad leader to hide near the flag spawn, hide somewhere safe and not noticeable. Then get the rest of ur squad mates to contantly spawn on you, make sure some of them are medics so they can revive fallen team squad members. If your team lasts long enough and the squad leader alive and hiding you can exhaust enemy flag and cap it all at once.

The counter for this tactic is to flank them. Sometimes you'll be lucky and catch the squad leader with his pants down.

Massive squad at a flag + Enemy artillery = a tactic that works 100% of the time unless the enemy has a commander

I don't like the SL stays back strategy. At worst, a SL increases your manpower by 20% (in a 6 person squad, if you add the SL to an attack, you are going from 5 to 6 combatants). That's a HUGE upgrade and a number I wouldn't sacrifice going into battle. If you only have 5, that number goes to 25%. It's silly to think that the SL shouldn't lead.

If you have a 6 person squad working in tandem (with 2 medics), you can easily take out 15 unorganized enemies and cap a flag. Leave a couple people on the outskirts NOT capturing the flag buy running around looking for enemies to spawn and counter attack. If the flag is being capped, people tend to run right to attack the flag and people on the outskirts easily can take the people down.

There is no need for the SL to sit back. . .the spawn point makes sense, but medics make you spawn in less than 15 seconds, so you are wasting your time waiting to spawn on the SL.

You're right, however, the SL shouldn't be the first one to turn a corner. When we/I say a SL should hang back he should be one of the last one's to round a corner or should be in the mix. If he goes in first, he'll get killed first!

              Columbus...hahaha

I have an idea too...a BH loaded up with engy's..

Well, it is hard enough to get people to follow you when you are leading so I still think that the SL needs to go in first for that reason alone.

However, if you have a group that actually listens or you are playing with your friends, then I guess the SL doesn't have to be the first to round the corner. However, whoever goes in first, whether it be SL or SM, they should not be one of the medics. It is all about the armored people going in first.

I ran a squad pretty effectively last nite mostly in assault kit - I found its weapon had the power to provide cover and the body armor kept me from getting 1 shot killed. If one of my medics went down, I'd first work to clear the enemy and then switch kits with the medic and revive him (course I'm then stuck with medic kit till i find another.)
