plz help me

hello im new here an was hopin to get some help

the problem is my comp

i got battlefield 2 a while ago and have played it problem free but then my pc blew an i had to get it fixed by replacing the motherboard

i got it bak today an wen i try to start battlefield up it jus stays a black screen an dosnt even make it to the ea logo....it just freezes

Try expalining a little more about your PC and Windoows and general specs.

Try reading the sticky at top of forum called, Help us, help YOU! and post your dxdiag info in this thread.

Is it a new install of Windows and BF2? Is the motherboard exactly like the one replaced??

Have you installed latest drivers for chipset, audio and video ?? Not just the ones that come on install CD, but latest from website.

Is BF2 patched to 1.03??

Have you tried deleting the folders inside ..\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\ and starting the game again. This deletes your profiles with all audio and video and keyboard settings. To get your login back just use Retrieve in Manage Accounts
