Vehicle boost key?

I have searched, googled etc
i see in options>controls>vehicle there is a "boost" key, does this work ?,
if so on what vehicles?
tried several different keys and doesnt seem to make any difference on any vehicle.

I've heard 'W' boosts it from a standing start.

It has been said that if you are going up a hill and can't get up, if you hit the sprint button it can give you a little more low end torque to get up there.

The F-18s afterburner is enabled by pressing shift.

That's the boost function.

download stunt mod and it gives all vehicles afterburners when you press the button :)

It was probably one of those things that were cut.

It was just like the Laser Designator :cry: , and I think it would have been shift like the afterburner on the jets.

it's "suppsoed" to help vehicles get going when going uphill. But i really haven't noticed anything.
