n00b question about the DAO.

Ive played alot anti-tank since i got the DAO and i love it, ALOT.
I read in forums that its so good because you can stop the reloading and shoot when it doesent got full ammo, but i cant find a single way to do it...
Ive tried to fire during the reload, ive tried to stop it by pressing the reload key, but none works. All I can find is to switch to another weapon, wait a little and then switch back. But there got be an easier way, right?

Switch weapons, then switch back to the DAO. You may get a weird bug where it looks like it's still reloading, but it's not - fire as normal.

I have Mouse4 bound to NextWeapon and Mouse5 bound to Weapon Slot 3. So for me, it's just a quick tap-tap.

Sounds like the random reload bug I got in Desert Combat a lot from the 1942 engine. The gun would look like it was loading even when you didn't hit reload, but you could still fire. That was always fun when someone's client predicted this on your player, but the server didn't see it, and they're like "WTF H4X!"

I'm getting to like the DAO more and more. It can ruin someone's day when they run around the corner and you are waiting for them with a big steaming bowl of toxic violence. It even is effective up to medium range if you aim carefully. If you need longer range, pull out the pistol and cross your fingers.

Yup, DAO rocks!! I climbed onto the roof top at Mashuar(?) City facing the dome building, I knew two guys were up there. As soon as I got to the top, both guys were aimed at the ladder, I ran right at them, used all 12 shells killing them both and I only lost a few bars of life. Dao kicks azz!!

As for your ques....if your mouse has a scroll wheel, scroll up a weapon then back when reloading, it will allow you to shoot even though it shows still reloading. Good for those times when someone surprises you after kicking some azz!!

lol... actually i do have a knife on my desk. seriously this time. It's sharp and big enough to kill ppl.
