Bit of a noob question... how do the stats work??

THe stats in bf2 don't seem to represent the actual amount of people i have killed i was wondering does it record them in a certian way or is there a problem with my stats record because i've been playing for a couple of weeks now and getting roughly 20 kills per match but they don't seem to be recording at all and alot of the info in the stats is not accurate
i am not sure how it works can someone explain.

Well,if your not playing on a ranked sever the stats wont record. But sometimes the stats can take a long time to refresh.

O #### i did not realise that i have been playing on unranked all this time because i thought that ranked servers where only for ranked players.... lol
being a noob at something is funny.

make sure the "Ranked" box is checked in your filter settings on your server browser, otherwise you'll be playing on un-ranked servers that do not report stats to the master account server...

if you play on ranked servers then it would record
if you leave earlier than the round ends then it wont record

yea sometimes its 5 mins sometimes its 2 hours or a whole day

depends on the load the server has

plus you have to wait before it fully updates your stats like 5 minutes or something
