Any one else feel that?
ok so check it out. i understand that when are grenade or big shells exploding around you might throw you off a little, you know when you get kinda woosy feeling in the game and it kinda has to fade away?? you know what i'm talking about.. any ways, i was wondering if there was a way to either turn that off or if there was a mod that could stop the effect form happeneing or if there is a way for a quicker recovery from the "dizzyness". let me know what's up, kinda new to this.. thanks

No, no, and no. It's built into the game. I'm sure some mod could get rid of it, but why? It's realistic. If a shell of any sort exploded semi-close to you I don't think you'd have perfect vision or hearing. -

Look its part of the game. In real life if an artillery round landed 10 metres from you, you'd be dead. Either that or you'd **** your pants and head for the hills, but that would be too hard to code :PComment

hmm well on my old comp it was really annoying, but on this one I have 2 gigs of ram and an Nvidia 6800 with settings on high, and it doesn't really seem to slow me down at all now.Comment

Getting rid of this effect would be considered a hack in the eyes of most - especially Dice and EA.
To me it would be the same as being able to see through walls, etc. - No need to flame this statement - it was just a broad generalization to help emphasize a point.Comment

But, it is your computer. My FPS drop to about 50 during shellshock. If you're in the "computer proffession" you should know this in not a bug, but instead your systems inability to process the info fast enough.Originally posted by artnez.comComment

If Shell Shock is hurting your computer so badly, drop down your Effects level in the Video settings.
Those settings are there for a reason...
