Nope, never. ppl know that most often some moron just wants to kick some other player who "stole" his/her vehicle or commander spot.

The only time i see people get kicked it when a commander spams the spotted message. Had a round were the kid was just mashing the spotted button for 15 minutes. He survived about 5-8 votekick attempts until we finally got em. That victory was almost more statisfying then in game victories :-)

In my experience, they could be the most OBVIOUS stat padders in the world, but people will NOT press PAGE UP. Are they retarded? Can they not find Page Up? Does their keyboard not SUPPORT the PAGE UP FUNCTION???

And I mean, look at the total amount of people you need to kick someone. Like 85% must vote yes in order for them to leave. On a 64 player server, that's ****ing impossible.

So basically, I'm telling EA to get off their asses and fix the ****ing thing.
to my surprise yes it actually worked once for me

Re: Have you EVER successfully VoteKicked someone?

              Valid reasons to be kicked:

              1. Hacking
              2. Exploiting glitches or bugs
              3. Point farming (aka, stat padding)
              4. Team killing
              5. Message spamming
              6. Logging in, then immediately going afk for 5 minutes
              7. Throwing yourself onto friendly explosives, diving in front of friendly vehicles, and then punishing the unintentional TK
              8. Racist or just plain idiotic chat messages

If you did any of that, you are at the mercy of the admin and fellow players. If you were kicked for owning the other team, base camping, or a single accidental TK, don't go back into the server. It's not worth the aggravation and stress.

With all the stupid vote spamming that all these 10 year old kids do, I am really tempted to enable that option in my game.
Every game I play there is always a mutiny vote 5 seconds after th round starts, or someone starts a map vote for Wake Island in a 24/7 Karkand server, or someone starts a kick vote and then screams their preteen voice over the voip "omfggg he's teh cheeeeeeeeting!!"

Re: Have you EVER successfully VoteKicked someone?

I think that the ratio is set up by the admin. Meaning in a 64 player server, the admin might put it at 18 votes to kick someone.

To answer your question. Yes, I have seen someone succesfully votekicked out. However, I saw them return right away?? Not sure how successful it was though ;/

One of the posters here, Planewhore, was vote kicked from a game I was in once. He was pretty bad... I think he had something like 170 kills, 0 deaths. He was just spawn raping everyone, and everyone got sick of it.

I'm opted out of all voting.

Hate that spam on the screen. Never seen a successful one.

A lot of people have votes turned off. Mainly because people will start vote after vote after vote, for mostly their own stupidity. He's a better tanker than me, let's kick him.

Better yet, is when the server has the option turned off, so no one ever has to look at them on that server.
