Special Forces - require bf2 also?

Do you guys know if you need to have bf2 on your computer to play special forces when it comes out, or will it be standalone?

Wth? Are you serious? It's an expansion, ofcourse you need Battlefield 2 in order to play it.

you need BF2, go to the website and look at the requirements for it

thanks - i assumed so, but i couldn't get to ea's website yesterday. planetbattlefield's requirements only listed system requirements for bf2, not special forces

It's a mod, you need the original games for mods.

its an expansion pack so yes it would require the ORIGINAL BF2
