  • EA launches content delivery via broadband (Is it real?)

Well, it looks like EA is following in the steps of Valve and alllowing you to download Special Forces via there new content site. My question, is the site for real & is it safe? Has anyone baught it via this way yet? I LOVE Steam so if this is the real deal its an awesome way for EA to deliver content. If this is safe & real I will purchase & download right away.

It is linked directly from EA's BF2 main page so how much safer can it be?

It sounds good, BUT, it will take a awhile for it to download. 2-5 hours. I'll just buy mine from the store.

              punisher:

if it's anything like Steam, your account info and content are stored server-side, not client-side. So if your computer gets all short bus on you, you know your content is safe.

I love Steam! I hope this is not bloatware though....Last thing I want is EA pop-up while surfing.
