Singleplayer Server?

I convinced my friend to buy BF2 and until he gets some more RAM it's a pain for him to play online, so I have a simple question:

Can he join into one of my single player games by connecting to my IP?

Last night he joined a server that I created but of course there's no bots.

ypu need to create a local MP game... you cant joine a Singelplayer game...

So there's no way then that we could play on a server I create that has bots?

I heard there's a mod that allows that, was just wondering if it could be done with a mod.

Me and my mate did. He started a sp game as normal, I went to multiplayer and just connected to his IP and there you go 16 player bot action.
Theres a mod out for 64 player maps aswell but I think you still only get 16 players on it, so quite lonely!!!!!!! http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/18077
Be warned though with this installed I'm not sure if you can connect to MP servers or not...

Check out the coop mod from WCC Coop Forum.

It only works with windows and I have not had any luck in getting it to work with my DVD installation (I bought the BF2 DVD and appears that a CD version is needed to "work around" having the CD in the drive) But the WCC squad has a server up and open to the public.

Please update if with your experience with this mod.
