Bloody Explosives Badge!

No... the badge doesn't have blood on it. Nor are any blood sodden explosives involved.

Rather, I'm growing somewhat annoied with the fact that this badge remains so elusive!

I donno. For some damned reason, I'm finding this to be the ultimat pain in the rear to get! I think it might have something to do with my survivalizem. I just can't get used to blowing myself up as a tactic. I set some fairly nasty traps and recently I've been getting better at tossing C4 directly at people for the "cheap" explosives kills (Seriously... would you RATHER that I'd knifed you??).

I seem to be peaking out at about 8 or so explosives kills per round. Not great 'n certainly not good enough. I'm gonna have to keep practicing!

In the meantime, there hasn't been a good "tips" thread on this subject for awhile... so any you folks gots some good thinks?

Do chopper bomber(ive got 60 kills in a round that way) or throw C4s like mad on karkand.

i got my basic on mashtuur by C4ing every flag and waiting till it turned white then hitting the switch -- i am sorry my friend but all that sh!t you hear about "holy war" jeeps is horse sh!t never been able to do it and i've been playing for a while... screw that badge

Get on a server that has friendly fire turned off then find one that also plays karkand and there you go

I play alot of spec ops and c4 does take pratice. I recommend attempting your badge on Strike at karkand. The way I use c4 is finding predictable paths enemies travel. Like a opening in a fence or if your desperate, spawn points. Just remember placing traps is fine and good but unreliable at best. I can easily score 10+ c4 kills a round on Strike at Karkand without spawn camping. In fact I believe I kill more people with explosives than my actual gun some rounds.

You can get it using jihad jeeps (buggy bomb ) on Karkand without destroying yourself. Just nab the jeep at the square, c4 it & wait for someone on your team to say enemy tank/apc spotted. Go round the back routes & try get behind them bail out & blow. Usually there are a few troops escorting the tank which you can also c4. Don't waste all c4 on the jeep. Keep 2 spare for stragglers.

Got my basic first round & veteran(23!!!) the next. Had been trying on loads of diferent maps so had enough kills. Try find a 64 server with <32 players. It lasts longer, and most people are able to get to a vehicle which ultimately means more kills for you.
