Get rid of the Nvidia card and go with ATI ( better support is my reason).

It shouldnt matter what card, its the least of his worries.. lol.. a 6800GT is good, so he souldnt waste mor on that, bu he needs more RAM, lik ei said before and any AMD would be great, especially something better than a 3200+ (3500+ preferably).

You know a real easy way to troubleshoot bad performance...Set your resolution at the level you would like to play at (1024x768). Then turn down all display settings to the lowest. Go join a 64 player server. If you can play smoothly then atleast you know its a resource issue. If it still lags then you might have bigger problems. Again if its smooth then you can start bringing the graphics up till you reach the limit your computer can handle.
