Two things-
1) Pictures & Font- I saw one of the pictures was very skewed which needs to be fix, and the font did not match with pictures at all
2) Opening Title- The blue background and same old font give it away that it was made in Windows Movie Maker. They have different colors and fonts for a reason, so use them. -
Re: You guys think this Intro is allrite for my clan?
First, I think you should stop using putfile. Seriously. It's fine for small movies that last a few seconds, but you people seem to use it for everything. It's buffering is SLOW AS HELL. It takes a good 5 minutes to buffer a 2 minute movie, on a standard 768k DSL connection.
Now then, onto the movie itself. It was okay, though nothing that really makes it stand out. First, the blue text on the white bg with the battlefield 2 just looked bad. Keep a uniform look, and use a color that's already there. A nice red would probably do.
Also, having a video made up of images is totally pointless. Make a slideshow. If you're going to make people download this (even temporarily), give them what they want, a video. Also, try and get your own pictures. There was only one picture in there I didn't recognize from some bf2 site, and I'm sure I could find it if I really wanted to. Have some clips of you guys in-game.
Oh, and though it's slightly off topic, get the hell off freewebs. Seriously. Right now. Or if you absolutely must stay on freewebs, develop your own damn template and stop using premade ones.
Good idea, good gesture, but if you want to make your clan look good, you're going to have to put some effort into it.

Yeah , hmm. Windows Movie Maker isnt the ideal programme to use for Video Editing. Its great for compressing files once there done (IE from Premiere Pro) but WMM Does not seem to be able to potray what I think your getting at. If you want to make a great impact, then use Premiere Pro and get yourself some tutorials for it, then remake it and im sure itll be great

I know man, you think I have the money, trust me if I did I would put some effort into it. Moreover, we are just starting with the clan. So it's nothing really big. I justed wanted to ask about the movie not my clan so even though you are right, it wasn't necessary to write 4 paragraphs on your opinion of my clan. No offense.Originally posted by SaladForkGood idea, good gesture, but if you want to make your clan look good, you're going to have to put some effort into it.~Salad

Re: You guys think this Intro is allrite for my clan?
intro for your clan for what? a distributable DVD? an intro for bigger BF2 movies? an intro for a website?
if you're looking to put this out on the web for a web site introduction, do yourself a favor and put the "slideshow" into a web-friendly format like Flash. you can edit the video in (i favor Premiere and Final Cut Pro, but whatever) whatever program you choose. after you're done, import it into a Flash movie and publish it as an SWF. embed it into a webpage. done.
but if you're going to do that, at least have the courtesy to provide a means to skip the intro movie. Flash intros are pretty the first time, but less so the second, third, etc. time.
finally, pay for a real webhost. they're dirt cheap anymore these days and you get much better bandwidth than with any sort of free service (not to mention you won't have any annoying ads cluttering your site).Comment

Intro's usually include alot of action. Like commercials for trailer movies, they get you hooked enough to go see the movie. Thats what you gotta do. The best way to do that is by moving images and close cuts..
hope this helpsComment
