OK, so I know this has been talked about to death and everyone knows about it, but I had something really strange happen last night playing Karkand that I wanted to get y'all's opinion about.
I was always under the impression that the nametag bug (where friendlies show up as bad guys) was something that happened randomly right after you spawned - i.e. you spawn and there's a good guy in front of you with a red tag. Frankly, I never really cared too much about it b/c it only happend a couple of times.
But last night, I'm in the building overlooking the northernmost flag (where the UAV trailer is on the 32 player map) and a sniper runs up next to me with a red tag. I blow him away and get punished for a teamkill. Several minutes later I'm at the same spot and see a sniper firing onto the bridge -- red name tag, dead, teamkill punish. It was the same guy.
Then, a few minutes later, I jump into a Humvee as the driver and this same guy jumps onto the Ma Deuce and on the vehicle graphic it shows me as a green dot and him as a red dot.
Is this just the standard old nametag bug or did I experience something different?
