Where shall I place the mod?

Hello, everyboy!

I have a problem... i don't really know where 2 place the mod. I have downloaded the mod "Nations at war" (that's a mod, right?), but I DON'T KNOW WHERE 2 PLACE IT! C:/Program/EA Games/Battlefield2... Right? But where after that? In "support", "mods"....? I think it's "mods", but WHERE IN "MODS"? "AI", "localisation", "Logs", "Levels", "Menu"...? WHERE? I need help... Plz help...

I really want 2 get more info than that. Exactly where in the mod map shall I place it? Just IN that mpa, or shall I enter some more map In the mod map?

And one more - maybe stupid - question. What does a mod do?

Unzip (Unrar) the "naw" folder into c:/program files/ea games/battlefield2/mods. After that download the maps on the main page download section and unzip(rar) them into c:/program files/ea games/battlefield2/mods/naw/levels

A "MOD" can do many things, change existing characteristics or create new material inside a standard game.

But how do I play the maps then?

Can I lay them at the singleplayer mode also...?

You can either go to the web site and get the ip # and there will be the servers running different maps OR you can create a local game and check stuff out that way. I've actually never tried playing it in single player.
