Where shall I place the map?

Hello, everybody!

I'm not so much a BF2 freak as u r
and I need help.
I have downloaded the RAR-file "Battle_for_al_Kahol". I just wonder: this is a map right? or is it? and if it's a map, where shall I place it? C:/Program/EA Games/Battlefield2... Right...? And... Where after that? The map "mods", "setings", support", profiles"...? Where...? And after I have entered THAT map, where shall I go AFTER THAT? I need help... Plz... Help.

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield2\Mods\bf2\levels\
When you have extracted the map there, open up BF2 i you want to play on your own with no bots then go on Create Local Nect to Join Local which is next to Internet, then set your settings for your map, then select the map (scroll down the list) select it and click Add Map then click Join Game
or
If you are looking for a public server, go on internet and then click on map and type in map name.

Hehe, Ok, but I don'r really get it yet.
Do u need some patch to use the patches? Patch 1.03 doesn't work at my computer(in some strange way, and the support CAN'T help), so shall I wait 2 the Special Forces Expantion Pack, or what? Because I still don't find the maps IN the game...

Erm, I think your trying to say the maps aren't on the map list?
maybe you put them in a different mod folder...It would help to have 1.03..

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm tryin' 2 say.
Well, I guess u're right 'bout the 1.03 patch - the problem is just that I'm 1 of the few who got real problems with that patch, so I'm playin' with the 1.02 patch right now.

No, I understand that but the support (EA Games Sweden) says that it's not impossible that the patch will be included in the expantion pack "Special forces".

Make sure the map(s) has an info folder.
