Prepubescent Commanders...don't let you kids lead!!!...rant

OMG...some days I wish I didn't have VOIP. For me it seems there's a trend finding more prepubescent commanders SCREAMING orders - we're talking "I want my chocolate milk!" kind of screaming.

I know you guys use the computer as a form of babysitter, but please, PLEASE disable VOIP for your little soldier.

Do it please, before I do a reverse IP lookup and find where you live and take the microphone cord and strangle you with it!!!

Kids are no worse than german* commanders who just chat with their friends... Squads are for that kind of small talk, commanders should communicate with the whole team and my german* is lousy...

Man lemme tell ya. There was this 12 year old kid trying to be commander. He was talking about how easy it is to be commander... he was flying a jet the whole map, only used his commander abilities to use artillery, and his team lost by 200 points. I figured out he was 12 when we all called him on it and he defended his position by saying we were all butt buddies. Impenetrable defense there...yep.

Theres a nice mute button, kinda works very well.

Yeah, figured that out (press TAB, RIGHT CLICK, then select the MANAGE tab and find his name or click the speaker next to his name in the SQUAD tab).

While I've been commander I've had some squad leaders ask me to shut-up so I just turn off the voice chat for that squad leader in the commander window (the speak right next to their name).


But seriously, why should an 11 year-old be playing this Teen rated game (Violence).

I guess these are the same parents that lets their 15 year-olds into R rated movies...

I agree and not just commanders, but 10 year olds in general. I joined a squad one time and this kid -- couldn't have been more than 8 or 9 -- was talking to somebody and got his little sister on VOIP to talk to them as well.

Damn... and I who thought I could have a taste of real life combat in this computer game:cussing:


Play competitions or whatever, that'll get rid you of kids playing both commanders or whatever

Doesn't really bother me too much, if they are that bad I will just mute them and ignore the orders, just press accept and do your own thing.
