another desktop crash HELP

[razor1988]

whenever i play an online game, i am able to join the server and play the game online game for about 2 minutes or so. then the whole programme closes and i end up in the desktop whithout recieveing any error messages. this does not happen in single player.

P4 2.0Ghz
nvidia GeForce FX 5200
512MB RAM
OS is Windows XP

if i patch battlefield 2 do i update punkbuster at the same time? if not how do i update it?
