I hate the threads that argue which is better. Any real sniper should agree with me and say that the M24 is better. Your going for a one shot kill and trying to stay concealed. So an inaccurate loud gun is not what you want. Yes?

You cleary ask a question at the end of the post, inquiring all who read it to post their own remarks... thus starting a thread where people argue which sniper rifle is better.

No. It depends on your situation. In many cases I want my targets to see me and try to find me. In other cases I want to be able to take out helicopter / jet passengers or pilots. If I'm in an urban environment my visibility is low anyway, so the M95 is a solid choice because I'll be able to take out some vehicle drivers and make certain things explode. If I plan to camp the main enemy base the m95 is a better choice, because I can take out pilots before they can take off. The m95 is less accurate, but you can still hit people at 300m.

The m24 on the other hand is perfect for harassing spawn points from far away. Taking out the turret gunners in vehicles and such without worrying about retaliation. The m24 has some advantages in urban areas because of its faster reload time. The m24 scope is also nicer than the m95.

Of course you should not rule out the Chinese and the MEC rifles either, although I find them difficult to use there are many situations where they would be quite useful. Unfortunately the QBZ-97, AK-74U, and especially the G36C are just as useful if not more so as the Type 88 and the SVD.

In short it really depends on the situation, but I usually stick with the m95.
