Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
what do you guys think of commanders playing soldier at the same time?
should commanders fight it out with the rest of the players or should they stay as commander and watch the battlefield?
Depends. I've no problem with a commander sitting at a flag on the back and defending a flag from the odd guy who comes along, but the commander who does the same thing in a tank is pretty darn annoying, especially on Karkand where armour is vital.
depends on the abilities of the commander, i think someone whos new at commanding should hide and pay attention to whats going on then once that gets extremely boring and they can predict whats going to happen they should move out and help their team. i started out by playing spec ops and c4ing one CP, didnt really matter what one, just one we controlled then defending it when the enmeny tried to cap it. that got bord so now i snipe and command at the same time. it works well because i dont die often, as long as your roll in the game doesnt require alot of attention and you dont die often (when your dead you cant command and those few seconds can sometimes be important)i think its ok to go fight it out with your team.
Normallu when I am commander I like to be engineer and camp the the arty and satilite areas and repair them if someone blows them up. Because most of the time people are too busy to worry about repairing our equipment.
a spec op with commander privledge is a true spec op, it really gives spec op a "single player feel", since you can use UAV to clear your path, and artillery their position, heal yourself and restock C4 with supplies
Commander privledge is the true force multipler for spec op.
i think it all depends, for example i was playing on a air map and both teams where in the air no ground forces, well being commander i went ahead and capture all the flags by myself since my team was in the air as was the other team as well,so like i said it all depends on the situation
I feel that if you are going to apply for commander then you should be commander and not a soldier on the battlefield.... they can do scans and other things while waiting on artillery to charge and uav. we need there help as a commander and not a soldier.
