Support Unlock !

What do you guys think of the support unlock...

Personally, I unlocked it... and SERIOUSLY DISLIKE IT.

Yes its more powerful... but the additional damage does not compensate for the serious loss of accuracie

I personally prefer the standard support rifles more then the unlocked version...

if someone is far away, with the regular guns, i can shoot singles and hit them...

with the unlocked rifle... I am better off taking out the handgun...

any opinions on that ?

If you want to kill people long range then get an assault rifle, the PKM is a great gun if you know how to use it, I'm not trying to sound like a **** but different guns are good for different things.

Well, I like the M249 SAW the most because its just OVERKILL. The RPK-74 is also pretty good but the chinese one suck like all the other chinese stuff (besides AK-47 :P)

Otherwise I havnt used the PKM so much but I think it suffers from low rate of fire.:hmm:

PKM is definitely one of the top three unlocks -- learn to master it on karkand -- you'll be happy like a pig in sh!t

Don't use it at long range. It's deadly as hell at short to mid range.

Probably, I just got frustrated last night when someone at medium range killed me after i was pronned, cursur right on him and unloaded at least 15 bullets in his direction...

Then again, practice makes perfect

I wish more people on this game would realise that.

PKM is definitely one of the top three unlocks -- learn to master it on karkand -- you'll be happy like a pig in sh!t

Agreed, the PKM is great it put my K/D ratio in the plus once I learn't how to use it to it's full potential

If you run around with a .50 calibre monster such as the PKM what do you expect? If you're prone you can hit anything.

I like it. But you have to prone and juse the ironsite unless your enemy is one foot away.

everybody knows that to hit anything w/ any support weapon you have to aim -away- from your target.

prone and ironsight are mandatory.

If youre going to fire 15 rounds at someone, it better be in 2-3 round bursts. Short bursts at mid range destory infantry.

is ok i think, the saw is much better that's my opinion. i only use it when playing chinese or mec.

I use it only on China. MEC's RPK-74 is pretty close the the PKM's accuracy (actually the same numbers) and more damage per second. The main advantage of the SAW is the 200-round mag (and it also does more damage per second). No running out of ammo in the middle of a firefight.
