Only about 150 Servers only in list? ..... Why? Please help.

Hi,
a friend has a major problem with the server list. It is not the filters, firewall or Anti-Virus software causing it as we have disabled those. Latest patch 1.03 has been applied.

Here is the problem ...
For some reason he can only get a server list of approx 150 servers. His game says 'UPDATING SERVERS' but that darkened box overlapping the list never goes away. The only way to stop the box is to 'STOP UPDATING' the server list leaving him with just the 150 or so servers.

We have tried disabling Norton anitvirus and firewall and made sure they do not start on startup. Made sure microsoft firewall is not active. Re-installed the game. Installed latest patch. Tried selecting and deselecting varios filters.

None of this seems to work.

Anyone got any ideas?

What happens when he uses All Seeing Eye as an external browser? If he still gets 150 servers then it's a connection problem. If he get's the whole 6000 then we know it's a BF3 config problem.
