wake island crash after map pack install

i just installed map pack 2 to have a look at the new maps........BUT since then i have tried to join a normal wake island 2007 server and my computer crashes to desktop.......i have tried servers with every other original map and the map pack 2 and the game works fine.......ONLY when i try to join a wake island 2007 server


any help????

not sure because the Map Pack 1 or 2 doesnt touch anything but the maps it installs. There are no modifications to another map. My guess is that something got corrupted around that time.

But if you need a backup of the original Wake Island 2007 here ya go.

Someone should write the main reasons for Eroors, the codes and what they mean also why it crashes to desktop, whats wrong in what folder, what to change where and put it as a sticky, this would stop posts like this but yer my friend had the same problem last night.

thanks for the help.....i was thinking along the same lines and reinstalled the patch.........working fine now
