has anyone getting bad ping the last few weeks?

I notice the last few weeks since I have been playing every server i go to has over 250 ping i go to the server and i have from 170-201 ping i dont understand. I use to get under a 50 ping now im getting way high ping up to 201.

These servers I went to where west coast ones I live in california and have a DSL connection it says 100.0 mbps.

Anyone know what the problem is i have a feeling my step dads computer might be eating up all the bandwith i noticed there was a weird cord plugged into the bottem port of my computer i think this is making my game lag.

Clear out the Cache folder in the My Documents folder.

Or download Ping Plotter from http://www.pingplotter.com and do a trace route to the servers you're playing on and you'll visually see where the problem is.

The program also provides you with contact information for the machine in question so you can fire off an e-mail informing their NOC of the problem and they may even get back to you.
