Please Insert CD question

So I installed BF2...had no problems.

Then I clicked on the icon on my desktop to play and it says "Please Insert CD"


This happens when I try and install any other games as well.


I have a DVD/CD drive and a DVD/Burner drive.

I went through their tech support online using the phrase "Insert CD" and I called them 4 times without any help.


Anyone have any idea how to get my drive to read the disk?

yeah my mate had same problem
the dvd rom was a not reading the disc it was an old model number cause when we typed it the net it came up on loads of forums from poeple with same prob,
he changed his dvd rom and it plays fine now,
get the model number of ur dvd rom drive and put it the net c what comes up

Others have fixed this by making an 'image' of their DVD so that they don't have to actually insert it each time they want to play BF2.
