Actual Sniper tip with the M24

I noticed that when if you take a shot,imediatly switch to pistol and switch back to sniper, it doesnt eject the empty bullet casing and allows you to fire again.

Basicly it lets you skip the bolt action move.
This is helpful for when you put one shot into a person, switch to pistol, finish him and then imediatly switch to sniper giving you another shot.
This works only with the m24 i think.

I found it kinda useful. Its not that helpful because when the time it takes to go from sniper to gun to sniper is about the same as the bolt action move.

Some of you probably know this trick from CS.

Since CS 1.6 it takes longer to switch back to the scope after a weapons switch which made the pistol-switch move obsolete unless you really wanted to use the pistol after firing off the awp.
It's about the same in BF2.

A quick switch takes milliseconds.

Most of them CS Awp lamers use scripts anyway, with hacks to put dots on the screen, or are lame enough to put a texta\marker dot on the screen in ink or something.

I'd not call this an "Actual Sniper" tip. This just a game exploit, if it even results in a speed benefit, which seems to be in question.

Actual Snipers don't use pistols to engage at-range, nor do they leave a spent cartridge in the chamber longer than is necessary to observe bullet impact through the scope. But as we all know BF2 is about as real as Candyland.
