    CD Key encrypted in 1.03 and I lost my manual!

    Is there any way to recover the key from my machine? I installed the game way back when it was first released. I have since moved and misplaced a bunch of stuff, including the BF2 manual.

    I am not looking for a "free" key. I just want to recover my own before I have to do a system rebuild.

      EDIT: bleh..it's only for if you're getting the invalid cd key error.

      Anybody else care to have a go?

          I believe that the only way to get the key is via EA who should provide you with a new one.

          The encrypted key in the registry should help prove your case to them.
