Yes.

Have the host at the LAN start up BF2. Have him start a normal conquest LAN game. Then have all of the people on the LAN, to go to the local server browser, and they'll see your game.

DON'T HAVE THEM JOIN THE GAME.

And DONT have them touch anything (especially not refresh)

Disconnect the game (go back to the main area with "Singleplayer, multiplayer, community, options" etc.)

Now, with the game disconnected, and they haven't touched anything, they should see the game still in the local browser.

Have the HOST COMPUTER (the one that started the first lan), go to Single Player, and start a game. Any map.

Then, once the single player game is up, have everyone connect to the server they still should see in the browser (info on it will disappear, but that is fine)

Sorry if this is confusing, I'm still stuck in Halo 2 bridging at the moment.

Connect by IP address to someone playing a SP game. Be warned, it crashes a bit.
