Rockets Going Through Things

Hey,

Does anyone else ever get the annoying problem of anti tank rockets going through cars ,tanks ect. i think this bug should be fixed asap. It mainly happens when there coming towards you, anyone else agree?

Sorry if this has already been posted but there was hundreds of topics about rockets.

I havent had it with a ground vehicle, but am sure I have seen my rockets go through helicopters before.

Yes, I have had rockets go "through" vehicles.. but thats because it can. I shot one at a tank and it went UNDER THE TANK and hit a tree behind it. Most of the other times its when I'm shooting at a car and it goes through a window or the frame. It is annoying, but I guess it happens..

It's just hit detection errors. I've been run over several times because I shot a rocket and it went right through the grille of an oncoming FAV. I've had TOW rockets go through the sides of tanks that were not moving- right through both treads - and hit the fence on the other side. I also had one go right through a stationary APC, front-to-back (not between the wheels, I mean dead-on the cab) without even scratching it. Bloody annoying, yes, but most bugs are.

Most of the problems are on jeeps/FAVs that are moving towards you at high speed but I have seen quite a few of the other ones too.

I've had it happen to me with jeeps, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a bug, just poor aiming on my part. Should alwasy aim for the lower half of the car, or jump so you get a downward angle on the vehichle.

Yes, missiles can go through the doors of a chopper, under a tank, etc. and THAT is not a bug. However, as an experienced AT soldier I can tell you that there are definatly times when niether happens and it still goes through the target.

Not only have my AT rockets gone thru vehicles but I have had tv guided missiles go straight thru helicopters. Can be frustrating sometimes.

the amount of times I've shot a rocket at an APC only to see it go right under the bonnet.. Sheesh!!!!

It's a problem with the netcode, and fast-moving objects.
