CTD when loading maps...

hey guys, i was trying to play bf2 on sunday and all went fine until i tried to play at a karkand map. everything worked until the map started to load and it crashed to desktop. i have been playing this game for months with no prob so wtf. also i took out the cd and put it back in, and it asked me to install. i clicked yes but nothing happend:cry: :censored: :cussing: :wall: .

please help

Sometimes the cache gets corrupted and all you have to do is delete it to force it to re-create the cache next time you load a map.

Hrm...I don't know what it asked you to re-install. Usually that option isn't available when you've already got it installed.

If you have already tried updating punkbuster, then I think a re-install is in order (if you haven't...UPDATE PB MANUALLY).

Do a MANUAL UNINSTALL, re-install, and patch to v1.03. Something screwy has happened.
