    Ram makers?

    Im looking to buy some more ram as i want BF2 to run smoother on my pc.Could anyone recommend any companys that are cheap but are still good.Thanks.

              Yeah, Corsair or OCZ are the best, I'd say. Try http://www.zipzoomfly.com to find it. They usually have about the same stock of RAM that NewEgg does, but with lower prices and free 2nd day shipping on all their items.

                  its ok i used to have one of those, well first off what r u getting ddr1 or ddr2, and what speeds can ur mobo support

                    use crucial or kingston, crucial has their own factories, but some other companies are just vendors

                      Actually Crucial uses chips made by Micron. But they are both the same part of the same company, just nit picking.

                        ram is ram there are very few actuall makers of ram
                        most companies rebrand stock chips like ocz gel kingston etc

                        all they do is test the board for compliance to the stated speed you can buy no name ram but have alook at the chips on it

                        hit websites lthat deal with overclocking as they will test all ram and give u info on what chips work best you can save some big dollars
