Alright so here i go again
Pentium 4 3.2
1 gig corsair ram
160 sata hd
Soltek Qbic motherboard (ill get the model number when im at home)
Radeon 9800 xt 256 mb agp

Im am currently runing Omega catalyst 5.9
I tried Catalyst 5.10
both had the same problem



basically my ground terrain is not staying it flashes black in random spaces as you can kinda see in the picture above ill repost a better picture when i get home. If anyone can help that would be great thankz guys.

So had you been able to play BF2 without this problem before, and now it just started happening?

Or is this the first time you've ever loaded up BF2 and this is what you see?

Creating new threads on the same subject will just prolong the troubleshooting process.

One of the other threads got a little bogged down...read it and you'll see. Much like this one will become if we don't focus on trying to help the problem

Just poited out the fact that there are replies in the other thread, e.g. I made one in there an have no way of knowing it it worked or not or if user even tried it yet.

If I make a reply in a thread I expect it to continue in the same, that all, instead of having to repeat myself again.

Yeah..I know it's annoying but I never saw that other thread you replied in. The one I'm speaking of is complete garbage.

so heres the story i loaded up bf2 and from the get go this was the problem i thought i just had old drivers and updated them to catalyst 5.10 and then it still had the same problem so i down graded them to 5.9 and still have the same problem i was gonna try and clean out all the drivers and do it again

So did you use Driver Cleaner when you upgraded to 5.10?

Do you have AA and AF set to 'Application Controlled' in your ATI control panel?

yeah i tried those im still gettin the same problem

and now when i just tried it it didn't start completely

now it loads and maybe 5 seconds into the game it quits
