    Practice Flying

I've been practicing flying jets. I create my own server and practice bombing and different maneuvers. To test any kind of combat I'll load up single player instead of playing online which ****es people off. I'm having problems against the computer on the easy skill though. Whenever I'm in a dogfight, they seem to be able to turn better than me and I lose them no matter what I do. I've tried this on both the US and MEC....Operation Clean Sweep is the only level I'm aware of that has planes. Hopefully I'm not stupid and missing any others. Does anyone have any tips for how to cut down on turning radius? I'm using a joystick and i tend to turn the plane about 80/90 degrees and then pull back on the stick to go into the turn and sometimes I'll use rudder to go up or down a little bit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Slow down when you turn. It tightens up your turn radius. The slower you go, the less area you use to turn and vice versa.

I wish these planes had speed brakes. That would make it better. If they do, I don't know about it.

Then my frien u never heard of Reverse Thrust. If you use F10 when flying and press the reverse thrust button, the airbrake should come on. thats how i can sort of fly backwards

I don't fly these planes too much. Most guys usually "ho" (mispelled on purpose) them. I fly in the Air National Guard tho, so that is why I gave that response.

          I have admit this:

A.I. bots flying aircrafts are a lot smarter and better than 80% of the people who fly in BF2 multiplayer when it comes to manuevers.

Have you guys fly against these A.I. pilots in Operation Cleansweep? It was rare for me to get him on his tail unless if his plane mindlessly veered off the map.

That was 2 months ago, thing's could've changed.
