Ranking in Special Forces

I can not find anything about ranking system in Special Forces. Will it be separate from the BF2 ranking system or your earned points will all go to the same place?

If they go to the same place, what about ranks? Special Forces soldiers are recruited from sargeants mostly and some times from even higher ranks. So when they qualify for the special service they are already having some pretty high ranks, especially in a BF2 world where 2nd liutenant is the highest rank.

linked with bf2 stats but will have its own stats, rank and new medals also

I'm trying not to get too hyped up over this expansion like I did for original BF2 by downloading every little bit of media I could.

so does this mean our global points from bf2 will be loaded into special forces? i hope that happenes

yes sf will add to bf2 stats but sf will have its own thing aswell(seperate but joined) :hmm: i got a producers audio interview goes for like 30 minutes ,cant remember where tho .

does it make sense to have seperate but joined stats? why not just continue with your same stats as if you are operating in new theaters, etc? just curious what the opinions are on each side of this...

My theory is that it would be too difficult to integrate all of the new armies, vehicles, and weapons into the current BFHQ system so they are keeping it separate from a logitistics point of view.

Another theory may be that if certain stats are deemed 'easier' to get with SF, then people who do not buy SF will complain?

because the aim ov the game will be different,i dont think its about capp`n flags its about doing certain tasks.I dont think there is many flags in SF just a main final compound!!and objectives, cough CS cough CS

In PC Gamer Mag it says they will be linked but SF will have new medals and stuff
