I reformatted and installed BF2, Need a Tip

I reformatted and reinstalled BF2 and ever since then when i click on my username and log in it takes forever and eventually automatically loads into a random multiplayer server. How do I stop this so I can choose my own server? It never did this until I reinstalled? Any tips?

DELETE the Play Online Now Icon.

Use the regular one. This is common. People click on the wrong one and it automatically loads in and puts you on a random ranked server. Thats why it takes longer...login and search for a random ranked server.

Hehe..so many people use that 'Play BF2 Online Now' icon...just delete the draned thing and use the 'Play Battlefield 2' icon.
